Cameron Smith lead new group of PGA Tour

In its struggle with LIV Golf, the PGA Tour made some adjustments and gained some momentum.

Six golfers will be participating in the new series, according to the Greg Norman-led, Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia-supported upstart circuit.

LIV Golf is getting ready to conduct its fourth event at the International, Sept. 2-4, near Boston, and as a result of the recent arrivals.

Cameron Smith stated on LIV Golf following his Open Championship triumph, "I'm not sure, buddy. My support network is worried about it all. I'm here to compete in golf competitions."

Then, during the week of the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind, rumours started to circulate that he was joining LIV Golf. Smith didn't confirm or refute the rumours, though.
